FixPro is a home services platform operating in Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. We connect clients with verified local service experts for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and more.

2. Data We Collect
When you use FixPro, we may collect:
- Account information: Full name, phone number, address, city
- Location data: GPS coordinates when you submit a service request, to match you with the nearest available expert
- Photos: Images you voluntarily upload to describe your service issue
- Communication data: Messages sent through our in-app support chat
- Device information: Browser type, device model (for push notification delivery)
- Google account data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google
- Usage data: Service requests, task history, ratings
3. How We Use Your Data
- To match you with the nearest available expert for your service request
- To enable experts to navigate to your location
- To send push notifications about your service request status
- To process payments and generate receipts
- To provide customer support via in-app chat
- To improve our service and detect fraud
- To send important service announcements
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as follows:
- With assigned experts: Your name, phone number, address, and location are shared with the expert assigned to your request so they can contact you and navigate to you
- With Google: If you use Google Sign-In, authentication is handled by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Contabo GmbH in Germany. We use:
- PBKDF2 password hashing with per-user salts (100,000 iterations)
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security)
- Automated daily backups with 30-day retention
- IP-based rate limiting and brute-force protection
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Update incorrect information via your profile page
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent: Turn off location sharing or push notifications at any time
